Monument is a collection of shelving units that combine wood and marble. This piece was imagined by Mathieu Girard et Gauthier Pouillart of Atelier Cocorico. The visual strength and stability of Monument relies on an ingenious construction system that does not require any tool. The result is a brutalist, material centered piece with a strong sculptural presence.

Penrose

Penrose is a large dining table in wood and glass created by Berlin-based designer Hayo Gebauer. The design was inspired by the geometric research of mathematician Roger Penrose and his famous impossible triangle. Depending on the point of vue, the legs overlap or blend to form shapes with 3, 4, or 5 legs. The glass top (clear of neon pink) shows the solid wood base assembled with traditional tenon and mortise technique. The result is a sculptural piece with brutalist inspirations enriched with luxurious finishes and the natural beauty of noble materials.

Block

Block is a lounge armchair inspired by the Brutalist architectural movement. Two massive blocks of walnut which are the structure and the armrests, give the armchair its singular silhouette.

This geometric identity is balanced by the lightness and comfort of the seat upholstered in wool or a luxurious sheepskin.

Planet

The planet is an upholstered chair inspired by the distinctive silhouette of planet Saturn.
The rings of the 6th planet from the solar system are mostly composed of ice particles and form a smooth ellipsis that inspired the shape of the wooden back supporting the round cushion of Planet.

The subtle texture of solid wood paired with the delicate touch of wool broadcloth by Maison Pierre Frey gives the Planet a soft and luxurious feel. The Planet chair combines the poetry of celestial bodies with the cold technicity of space modules as the mat black metal structure brings a contrasting technical feel.

Bump

Bump is a collection of cabinets in galvanized steel and marble. The name comes from the ‘Bump’ on each door where you push to open the doors.

“Marble is an incredibly rich material and every time you extract a block from the mountain you have the surprise to discover an incredible design. Even each slice is different. We wanted to replicate this unpredictability and richness with an industrial material and process. Galvanization produces this kind of rich shades and elaborate design”. The shape remains simple and Bump is all about the materials. The structure and interior of Bump is entirely made of wood and metal is only applied as a décor to this conceptual but nonetheless re ned piece.

Sunday is a family of dinner tables, coffee tables and consoles with a simple and sculptural design. The mix of heavy marble legs and a thin solid wood top creates an interesting contrast while the rounded edges and generous proportions provide a comforting feeling.

Sorcier

Sorcier is a wall light inspired by the ritual Ngil masks of the Fang tribe in Gabon. The light diffuses through the perforations in the mask and shines upward in a graphic and gentle way. It changes personality depending on the combination of colors, textures and perforated patterns, which vary in each version.

The designer spent a lot of time in Central Africa with the Fang who still are the main ethnic group in Guinea and spread across Gabon and Cameroon. She drew her inspiration from the ritual objects and the strong graphic identity before combining it to modern manufacturing to create this collection. More than a light, Sorcier is a sculpture.

Zorro

Zorro is a minimalist yet graphical coffee table. The masked hero signature inspired the ingenious Z structure which supports a duo of overlapping round tabletops giving a sense of lightness to this simple and elegant piece. The design plays with our perception as Zorro seems to be made up of 2 nested tables as it is one and only table.

Swan

Swan is a large pendant lamp with smooth and curvy lines. Swan is made of an opalescent shade in blown glass floating above a chromed metal cone.

The shape was inspired by the figure of ballet dancers, with their puffy tutu surrounding a slender body.

The name Swan refers to one of the most famous ballets: Swan Lake.
